WebNov 6, 2024 · 1) Check your computer resolution and the resolution set in your Fallout 4, and make sure the both resolution is the same. 2) Go to the Graphics Adapter and Resolution settings in your Fallout 4, and check Windowed Mode and Borderless. 3) Uncheck Enable Intro Video (or check Disable Intro Video) in your Fallout 4 settings. WebEvery 5 seconds there is a stutter where the frame rate either freezes or is dropping extremely low. This is very apparent in game (i.e. Overwatch), but also very apparent in windows (with no game running) and just m oving the mouse in a circle. Every 5 seconds like clockwork. I have cleaned out/reinstalled drivers. Uninstalled/reinstalled GE.

WebXGalt 7 years ago #2. It's the dynamic shadows more than likely. There's a mod on the Nexsus that's suppose to scale that down and improve FPS in more dense areas where there are lots of shadows. Could also be a texture issue. If the dynamic shadow mod doesn't doenough get the Fallout 4 TOP mod.
