The Roman Catholic Diocese of Masaka (Latin: Masakaën(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Masaka in the Ecclesiastical province of Kampala in Uganda. WebThe Diocese of Hoima, whose evangelization was spearheaded by the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers), was erected on 9th August 1965, being made up of areas cut from the then Fort Portal Diocese and Lubaga Archdiocese. It started with 7 Parishes, and as of 2024 there are 47 Parishes.
