Web1 jun. 2024 · To investigate the structural differences of MnX 2 compounds, we synthesized single-crystal MnTe 2 and MnSe 2 and performed single-crsytal X-ray diffraction experiments. The thermal vibration characteristics of MnX 2 compounds are significantly different than those of FeS 2 . Web13 jul. 2024 · A new layered chalcogenide semiconductor, Bi 2 MnTe 4, was discovered. It was prepared by melting and annealing methods and its crystal structure was determined by powder X-ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement. It showed p-type conducting behavior at room temperature and it was quite consistent with our density functional theory calculations.
