He was freakishly athletic when he was young, however the problem was that growing up in a poor part of India as he did, he wasn't able to get his acromegaly fixed until much later in life. Big Show got his fixed when he was like 18, Khali had to wait until he was nearly 40, by that time the disease had taken it's toll.
